The Lighthouses of Maine

The following lighthouses were all photographed on a vacation that Carol and I took in the Fall of 1998. Fair weather prevailed for 5 of 7 days allowing us to get some fantastic shots of these famous lighthouses. Many of these lighthouses are nearly unreachable by a vast majority of Americans. Moreover, many of them are nearly impossible to find, once you are in the area. There are no signs pointing you to lighthouses and most of them do not appear on maps. Many are offshore and unreachable without a boat or a plane. All of these were found by car within our week long trip. I am quite proud of having these fine photographs. We hope you enjoy them as well.
