On 21st May 2023, we held our first major event in Bolton, with 200 sisters attending. The powerful topic catered to a pressing question for young muslimahs- who should we truly devote our hearts to? Alhamdulillah, we received some fantastic feedback and recruited many sisters who were interested to join the Lightseekers mission in Bolton.This event marked the beginning of our journey, bringing sisters together in faith and purpose.

Our first event in Ashton-Under-Lyne was a beautiful milestone, focusing on muraqbah (meditative reflection) and the power of dua. Held alongside a live meditation session, the experience deeply resonated with the sisters in attendance. Many were inspired by the tranquility and connection they felt, expressing a strong desire to make Lightseekers gatherings a regular occurrence in Ashton. Alhamdulillah, some sisters even joined our team, and monthly gatherings are now a cherished part of the community here.

On 12th October 2024, we hosted our first event in Blackburn, led by our inspiring self-development coaches, Khadeejah Dabbagh and Aishah Dabbagh. The session focused on answering life’s most pressing questions, discovering purpose, and understanding oneself. The topic struck a deep chord with attendees, offering valuable insights and transformative reflections.

This event marked a powerful beginning for Lightseekers in Blackburn, and monthly gatherings will commence in 2025 to nurture the growing community and further develop our team in the area.
