Lightseekers Team

A dedicated Hafizah, Alimah and self-development coach, Ustadha Khadeejah has spent the last eight years inspiring students through her teachings. She has also earned a Diploma in Prosthetics & Orthotics, showcasing her diverse interests. Driven by her passion for learning and education, Khadeejah founded the initiative Lightseekers. This project reaches beyond her local community in Bolton, making a meaningful impact nationwide.

After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Health & Social care, Wahida works full-time as a civil servant, under the Department for Education. She also oversees the Event Organisation of various Lightseekers events, with a primary focus on Ashton Lightseekers.

After graduating as an Alimah in 2015, and now a qualified mentor and self-development coach, Sister A'ishah combines her passion for communication with her faith as a Speech & Language Therapist in Birmingham. Her journey in language learning took her to Morocco, where she deepened her knowledge of Arabic and she also holds a BA in English Language and Arabic, blending her linguistic expertise with her dedication to helping others. A'ishah has supported the expansion of Lightseekers message across the North, delivering our tours in Liverpool and Blackburn.

Having graduated with a Bachelors in English Literature, and a PGDE in Secondary Education, Taibah has experience working as a teacher and now works in Data Control for an international exam board. Outside of work, she values spending time with her growing family, and is passionate about helping Lightseekers grow.

Iqra is part of the media management team, responsible for creating and posting content daily across Lightseekers' social media platforms.

She also obtained a degree in Primary School Teaching from Denmark, and several years of experience teaching in primary schools. In her free time, Iqra enjoys exploring new interests, including photography, travelling, and staying active through various sports and outdoor activities.

Nimra is currently studying for a BSc in Accounting & Finance and was working towards pursuing studies as an Alimah. She also manages the production of Lightseekers social media content and has been pivotal in the organisation and success of many Lightseekers events.
